Importance of Time Management

What is time management?
It is a set of principles, practices, skills, tools and systems that help you use your time to accomplish what you want.

Go to the Study Guides and Strategies website and read through the article "Time Management". With a partner, create your own guide that outlines each of the strategies that are mentioned. The guide should list all of the strategies, but only a summary of the description. Use your creativity to make your guide visually appealing and easy to follow. You may use electronic media (Word, PPT, MS Paint, etc) or paper/pencil for this project. The final product is due on Monday 8/16.

Latin America: Ch 9

Welcome back Geography students. In this next project you will be creating a presentation about The Cultures of Latin America using Google Docs. Use the info I provided for you in class to create your presentation. Each heading will have it's own slide and each slide must have at least one image that relates to the information on that particular slide. Once you finish the presentation, make sure you double check that all the images you selected are actually there and that you check for spelling. You will then publish your presentation and post the link on this blog via your post. I show you how to do this last part next week. This project must be completed and posted to this blog by Wednesday Oct. 22.

Welcome to blogging

How many of you have ever blogged? Do you even know what a blog is? By the end of the year you will all be familiar with blogging and all that it entails. I will only be using one blog address for all of my classes, but each class will have their own posts to respond to. In the title, just look for the name of the class and the date of the post. To post a response, you will have to sign in with your gmail account. Your response will not appear on the page until I approve it. Once I approve it, everyone will be able to see what you wrote, so think before you respond.
Here is your first prompt. Go to Wikipedia and read about what a blog is.
